MEDAS PRODUCTS
The production, purchase and export of natural bee honey are the main activities of Medas. We both produce our own honey and buy it directly trom beekeepers, who cover almost the entire territory of Slovakia. Part of the honey is also imported from abroad. Thanks to our wide territorial scope, every year we trade with rapeseed, blossom, acacia, forest and honeydew honeys from the most ecologically clean areas.
In addition to the production of pure honey, we have expanded our portfolio to include both flavoured honeys and honey mead.
We mainly focus on the quality ofour products, which is regularly checked in the laboratory, while the entire purchase, processing and storage of honey meets the demanding veterinary and hygiene regulations.
Our aim is to offerconsumers a first-class product in which all the natural properties, natural values and nutrients are preserved.

Tatra mead
traditional mead
Our traditional / Tatra honey mead is made from the finest quality honey and clear water.The honey is gradually dissolved in the water to from a honey solution. Then, special mead yeastes are added and fermentation takes place. This process takes several weeks. The freshly fermented mead is then bottled in maturing containers, where it is given time to mature.
Honey mead becomes clear over time, the delicacy and bouquet are formed.

One of our most successful products in our flavoured honey – VITAMED. It is produced by combining blossom honey and blacberry, cranberry and lime juice. It is a pure natural product enriched with vitamins and minerals.
